This collection is dedicated to mi Guela Oli and all the abuelitas and abuelitos that raised us on pan dulce and cafecito. In Mexico, “merienda” which translates to “snack”, is a way of life, an attitude, a special time of day. Often a time when sweet pastries are involved, so is chisme and long talks with loved ones.
